Livestock

 

Our cow herd is made up of both registered Simmental, SimAngus, Wagyu and commercial animals. Ben’s passion for cattle health, production management and marketing has led him to continually look for ways to develop and grow as a producer. Our program implements the best care and handling protocols within the beef cattle industry as we truly care about the well being of our livestock. Our entire family has an active role in working, feeding and managing the cattle herd.

We prioritize good management practices and high quality genetics. We implement Safe Care and Handling as outlined by the Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) protocol. Both Ben and Savannah are BQA certified.

While cattle is our main focus in the livestock area we also have a super sweet group of critters which include; Biscuit the lamb, Sammie the donkey, Bluey & Willie the dwarf goats, a handful of laying chickens, and a flock of Gotland Sheep. Ben jokes that we are an evolving petting zoo (and the girls and I are not opposed)!
